Technology Transfer and the Role of the State in Intellectual Property Rights Ownership: European and Brazilian Perspectives

Joana Piriquito Santos participated on November 17 in the event promoted by CEPI, OAB/RS as a speaker alongside Dr. Liz Beatriz Sass and Dr. Lucas Duarte, exploring European and Brazilian perspectives on technology transfer; the role of the State as a holder of IP rights; and the intersection between science and law.

The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Carolina Tagliaro, with opening remarks by the President of Brazilian Bar Association, Dr. Leonardo Lamachia, and the Vice President of CEPI, Dr. Carlos Ignacio Schmitt Sant’Anna.
