JUVE Patent recognised the Boehringer v. Zentiva preliminary injunction proceedings— in which NLP represented Boehringer Ingelheim before
the Unified Patent Court (UPC)—as one of the “Top 10 patent cases of 2025”.
This distinction, awarded at the end of 2025, highlights the legal and strategic significance of a case conducted by NLP at a pivotal moment in
the consolidation of the UPC. The case was recognised as a landmark decision in which, for the first time, the UPC Court of Appeal addressed
the criterion of the imminence of infringement of a pharmaceutical patent in the context of preliminary injunction proceedings.
