Intellectual Property and Sustainable Innovation under discussion
Joana Piriquito Santos participated on Octobr, 20th, in the NOVA IPSI Annual Lecture organised by NOVA School of Law, an event that celebrated a year of impactful research in intellectual property and sustainable innovation promoted by the NOVA IPSI Knowledge Centre.
This session was hosted by Margarida Lima Rego, Dean of NOVA School of Law, and Giulia Priora, Coordinator of NOVA IPSI, and moderated by Francisco Lobão Alonso and Aleksandra Iugunian, both Researchers at NOVA IPSI.
Joana Piriquito Santos shared the panel with internationally renowned figures such as Professor Margo Bagley from Emory University School of Law in the United States. The discussion highlighted how curiosity, critical thinking, diversity and cross-border dialogue can help refine intellectual property tools so that they serve not only markets but societies as well.
