NLP strengthens its commitment to innovation and technology transfer in healthcare
Joana Piriquito Santos has been invited to join the CaixaImpulse Experts Network, an initiative of the “la Caixa” Foundation" dedicated to promoting the valorisation of scientific research in the field
of health.
As a Strategic Consultant, Joana will support early-stage teams in defining Intellectual Property strategies, ensuring alignment between protection, valorisation and market access, from the
concept stage through to adoption by the healthcare system.
The CaixaImpulse programme supports biomedical innovation projects from research institutions and hospitals in Portugal and Spain, having already funded more than 263 projects, with an
investment exceeding €28 million, in the areas of Diagnostics, Medical Devices, Therapeutics and Digital Health.
