Joana Piriquito Santos, Co‑Founder of NLP, spoke on the panel “Innovate, Protect, Impact: The Future of Scientific Ideas”, held as part of the celebrations of the 115th anniversary of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, in the CIÊNCIAS Main Auditorium, on 22 April.
On this panel, which brought together leading figures in the fields of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship, Joana addressed the legal challenges related to intellectual property and technology transfer, reflecting on how to turn scientific knowledge into real impact on society and the economy, while at the same time ensuring its legal protection.
