Sara Nazaré, of NLP, has co-founded ChIPs Iberian Peninsula, the newest regional chapter of ChIPs Network, bringing together women working across legal, intellectual property, technology, risk and compliance roles in Spain and Portugal.
Founded by Sara Nazaré, Cintia Bernhardt of Bird & Bird and Rais Amils of Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, ChIPs Iberian Peninsula aims to build an active regional community and advance women’s leadership at the intersection of law and technology.
The new chapter is already playing an important role in ChIPs Network’s European programme. Lisbon will host the 6th annual European Summit, marking the first time the event has partnered with a chapter from the Iberian Peninsula.
Hosting the Summit in Lisbon is an important recognition of the momentum and growth of ChIPs Iberian Peninsula, providing an opportunity to showcase the Iberian community and strengthen its connection with the organisation’s wider European network.
