Joana Piriquito Santos elected as a member of the APDI Advisory Board

Joana Piriquito Santos was elected as a member of the newly established Advisory Council of the Portuguese Intellectual Property Association (APDI) for the 2025-2027 term.

The Advisory Council of APDI includes several well-known figures in the field of Intellectual Property Law, including Alberto Ribeiro de Almeida, António Andrade, Eleonora Viegas, João Miranda de Sousa, João Negrão, Luís Couto Gonçalves, Luiz Pimentel, Manuel Oehen Mendes, Márcia Martinho Rosa, Margarida Matias, Miguel Lourenço Carretas, Nuno Pires de Carvalho, Pedro Marcos Barbosa, and Silmara Chinellatto. The Advisory Council will be chaired by Professor Dário Moura Vicente.

The Council will play a key role in defining APDI’s strategy, reviewing its operations, and promoting knowledge in the field of intellectual property.

It is now the responsibility of the new governing bodies to actively contribute to the development of intellectual property in Portugal and Europe.
